Dobiq UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (“Company” or “we”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its users (“User” or “you”) when using our website or mobile applications. As a visitor, user, or customer, you entrust us with your data, and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard that information to ensure your experience is safe and secure.

1. Your consent

By installing the apps on your mobile device, connecting to, accessing and/or using the apps, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy, including to the possible collection and processing of your personal information. Please Note: If you disagree to any term provided herein, you may not install, access and/or use the apps and you are requested to promptly erase them, and any part thereof, from your mobile device.

2. Offline Use

Dobiq UG allows offline use (without Internet connection and without GPS enablement) of some features of its apps. Offline use will preclude the collection by Dobiq UG and/or Third Parties of any information pertaining to you and/or your use of the apps.

3. Online Use

There are three types of data and information which may be collected from Users of our apps:

3.1 Non-personal Information

Dobiq UG allows Third Parties to collect non-identifiable and anonymous information as detailed below (“Non-personal Information”). With respect to such Non-personal Information, Dobiq UG and the Third Parties have no idea of the identity of the User from whom it has been collected. Non-personal Information collected by Third Parties may include the following technical information:

- type of operating system (e.g., Android, iOS, etc.),

- type of browser (e.g., Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.),

- screen resolution (e.g., 800×600, 1024×768, etc.),

- language (e.g., English), device type (e.g., Galaxy, HTC, iPhone, etc.),

- geo-location – only general location may be collected. No street name or city/town name is collected.

Purpose: Collection of Non-personal Information is strictly for analyzing the apps to provide functionalities and performance improvements.

3.2 Persistent Device Identifier and No Other Personal Identifiable Information

Third Parties may also collect a persistent device identifier from Users, such as IP address, unique device identifier, etc. (“Persistent Device Identifier”). Dobiq UG does not collect and does not allow Third Parties to collect any personal information that may identify an individual (other than the Persistent Device Identifier, which is collected for the limited purpose of internal operations of the apps) and any other personal identifiable information of private and/or sensitive nature.

Dobiq UG does not allow any additional personal identifiable information to be linked to the Persistent Device Identifier, even from other services.

Purpose: Persistent Device Identifiers are collected strictly for internal operations of the apps, including, without limitation, serving advertisements as permitted under applicable privacy laws.

4. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We may share information only in the following cases:

(a) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, or governmental request;

(b) to enforce this Privacy Policy, including investigation of potential violations;

(d) to respond to claims that any content violates a third-party’s rights;

(e) to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the Company, its Users, or the general public;

(f) when the Company undergoes any change in control, including by merger, acquisition, or purchase of all or substantially all of its assets;

(g) pursuant to your approval, to supply certain requested services;

(h) to let our partners serve you with advertisements.

5. Direct Marketing & Advertising

Direct Marketing: You agree that we may send you notifications regarding the apps and content that may interest you, and advertisements or other marketing material transmitted through the apps and website, or via newsletters sent to your email per your request. You may remove your email address from the mailing list at any time by clicking the remove option in the emails sent to you.

Advertising: We accept advertisements from third-party advertisers. These advertisers are carefully selected to provide information that may be of interest to our Users. If you click on any advertisement, the advertiser may use cookies and other web-tracking technologies to collect non-personal and/or personal information about you. We recommend reviewing the terms of use and privacy policies of any advertiser with which you interact; their privacy policy will apply to those interactions.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

When you access or use the apps and website, Dobiq UG may use industry-standard technologies such as “cookies” and Flash (or similar technologies), which store certain information on your device (“Local Storage”) to enable automatic activation of certain features and make your experience more convenient. Cookies used by the apps are per session, do not include personal information beyond the session key, and are removed when the session ends. Most browsers allow you to erase cookies, block acceptance, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Blocking or erasing cookies may limit your online experience.

Third-party cookies (e.g., Google Authentication) may also be used. These are stored by third parties, not Dobiq UG, and are only read when you visit the apps and website or related sites. Third-party cookies typically store only Non-personal Information, such as visited pages and browsing duration.

7. Security

We take great care to maintain the security of the apps and website and your information, and to prevent unauthorized access using industry-standard technologies and internal procedures, including encryption. However, we do not guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

Third-Party Software/Service

While using the apps and website, we may use third-party software and/or services to (a) collect and/or process Non-personal Information;

(b) provide advertisements; and

(c) communicate with you through internal messaging mechanisms. Such software may include, without limitation, Flurry [privacy policy: https://www.flurry.com/privacy-policy.html] and Google AdMob [privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy].

8. Using Game Center Feature and Interaction with Third-Party Social Networks or Platforms

Our apps may allow social integration with certain third-party social networks or platforms (e.g., Apple Game Center, Google Play Games, Amazon GameCircle) (the “Game Center Feature”). These platforms are maintained by third parties not affiliated with Dobiq UG. If you enable this integration, your use is subject to the applicable third-party terms of use and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them to understand how your information is handled.

9. Links to Third-Party Sites

Certain links in the apps may direct Users to non-Dobiq UG sites. These links are provided solely for convenience. Dobiq UG is not responsible for the content, products, services, or privacy practices of these external sites. Dobiq UG reserves the right to terminate any link at any time.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the use of the apps and website and any information collected therein. Dobiq UG reserves the right to change this policy at any time; please re-visit this page frequently. Material changes will be clearly posted. Continued use of the apps and website after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
